Approximately Ninety Air Travels Linked to Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airports
An investigation has found that approximately 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein reportedly touched down at and left UK airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who assert they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Pattern of Travel
The travel manifests were among a trove of court documents and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been made public over the last year. The analysis identified 87 aircraft movements connected to Epstein – including many that were previously unknown – coming into or leaving from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unidentified female passengers were recorded among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these British airport journeys occurred subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a child.
“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his dealings in the country,” stated American attorneys representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.
UK Survivors and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that victim has never been contacted by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police stated they had “not received any additional information that would support reopening the inquiry.” They noted, “Should new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, including any resulting from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will assess it.”
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to disclose all files held by the US government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are projected to be made public.
Separately, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
