Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete has impressive online presence

The young golfer will have plenty of well-known supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and often plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events recently and has ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

But she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, relax, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.

Kai boasts substantial online presence and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
